I knew there was a reason I bought a treadmill.

Got some new pics for September including one of the monkey with a broken arm. Actually it has turned out not to be broken or at least only slightly fractured and bruised. So its off with the splint and back to the playground.

One little monkey jumping on the bed she fell down and broke her elbow. Ok it doesn't rhyme but better her elbow then her head. Instead of having an nice turkey dinner on Sunday we spent 3hrs in the emergency room. 6 x-rays later we still didn't have and answer and Haley was really mad at the doctor.

Monday afternoon was spent at Children's where they decided it wasn't a separated elbow but nobody could see a fracture. So now little Haley gets to spend 10 days in a splint while we wait for elbow to show some sign of a fracture.

Hey its international talk like a pirate day. Arrh check out the website mates. A scarier lot of sea dogs you'll never find.

That sure was a fast two week of holidays. Oh well back to the grind on Tuesday with all those little kids heading back to school. I am sure there are some relieved parents out there. It was a very busy holiday with a trip to Whistler and numerous days at Spanish Banks.

We had a really great trip to the Cultus water slides. It was raining on the way out but when we got there is was just cold and cloudy. We sat in the hot tube and then made a run for the slides. Its actually a good time to go since we managed to ride the Valley of Fear 8 times and had a great time on all the slides. I think Nicholas really liked the Radical Rapids in the inner tube. Even with the cold weather I think we all had a great time.

Spent today up at Lynn valley, which I think we plan to do a lot more of next year since its really fun and nice and cool. There is something about the running river that is very relaxing.

Oh well one more day of holidays and back to work. I guess that's it for summer.

Had a great time at Splashdown park yesterday. It was a little cold but the black tunnel of darkness was pretty cool. May managed to loose a shoe and not just any shoe but the one that was on her foot. She got in the car with two shoes on but when we pulled out of the driveway she had only one. We're going to call her Cinderella from now on. Fortunately it was still there sitting in the parking lot waiting for Prince Charming to find it.

Lots of new pics for June. Must be the sunny weather. Dino town was really cool if your 5 years old. I did like the paddle boats but the drive out was to long.

Only on the internet can a guy trade a red paperclip for a house. It would have to be a pretty big paper clip to get a house in Vancouver!
